Shelbourne is one of the signature shoes of JUMONJI WORKS and the first model I ever created that I could wear myself.
This pair represents a significant milestone—it was the very first saddle shoe I designed and patterned on my own in 2011, marking the beginning of JUMONJI WORKS. At the time, I had no workshop and spent countless nights hand-stitching in the basement of a shared house. That experience remains vividly etched in my memory.
With Shelbourne, I infused a traditional saddle shoe design with my unique sensibility, paying particular attention to the elegant curves of the quarters and backstay. The joy I felt upon completing this pair is something I will never forget. This shoe embodies the craftsmanship and refined aesthetics of JUMONJI WORKS, making it a true flagship model.

Shelbourne（シェルボーン）
JUMONJI WORKSを代表する短靴の一つで、初めて自分で履ける靴として誕生したモデルです。
この一足は、2011年に自分のデザインとパターンで作り上げた最初のサドルシューズであり、JUMONJI WORKSのスタートを象徴する重要なモデルです。当時、工房もなくシェアハウスのベースメントで夜な夜な手縫いで作業を進めていたことが、今でも鮮明に記憶に残っています。
Shelborneは、伝統的なサドルシューズのデザインに独自の感性を加え、羽根とバックステイの美しい曲線ラインにこだわって作り上げました。完成した時の喜びは今でも忘れられません。このシューズは、JUMONJI WORKSのクラフトマンシップと美しいデザインが詰まった、まさに代表作です。
