Shelbourne – White cowhide x Black oil tan Leather
These saddle shoes were specially designed to support David’s performances, a street performer who is active all around the world. To endure his intense movements while providing flexibility and stability, the optimal sole was selected. Additionally, to reduce fatigue during long performances, an insole with an arch-supporting last was used.
The design also reflects David’s unique aesthetic, featuring the iconic black-and-white checkerhead color to express his individuality.
David and I met by chance on a beach in Sooke, and he is now one of my respected friends. He travels all over the world as a performer and returns to his home on Vancouver Island, where he lives a busy dream life as a beer brewer, honey maker, and gardener. This photo was taken in front of his brewery, @checkerheadbrewing, which is one of his dreams.
We hope this pair allows David to perform more freely and comfortably on stage.
