These special collaboration shoes were created for the pop-up event held in November 2024 at @ab_the_selectshop<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in Kumagaya, Saitama.<\/p>\n

This project began when @barzbeatz<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0a multi-creative artist, fell in love with JUMONJI WORKS boots and got excited about the idea of creating something together. After countless exchanges between Canada and Japan, we finally brought this project to life after 1 year and 8 months.<\/p>\n

The first design Barz sent me was far beyond my expectations\u2014truly unique and striking. I was completely captivated by his artistic vision. To turn this design into reality, I created the pattern in Canada, then sent it to Japan, where @imaginehiro6 <\/a><\/strong>cut the leather and hand-carved the design. The pieces were then returned to Canada, where I completed the stitching, constructed the upper, and finished the shoes.<\/p>\n

Additionally, this collaboration serves as a promotion for Barz\u2019s new album. The entire process was deeply fulfilling, working on these shoes while listening to his incredible music.<\/p>\n

Shelbourne<\/strong> is one of the signature shoes of JUMONJI WORKS and the first model I ever created that I could wear myself.<\/p>\n

This pair represents a significant milestone\u2014it was the very first saddle shoe I designed and patterned on my own in 2011, marking the beginning of JUMONJI WORKS. At the time, I had no workshop and spent countless nights hand-stitching in the basement of a shared house. That experience remains vividly etched in my memory.<\/p>\n

With Shelbourne, I infused a traditional saddle shoe design with my unique sensibility, paying particular attention to the elegant curves of the quarters and backstay. The joy I felt upon completing this pair is something I will never forget. This shoe embodies the craftsmanship and refined aesthetics of JUMONJI WORKS, making it a true flagship model.<\/p>\n
